Receiving organizations

We are looking for partners in English-speaking countries who can receive flows of 10 students for work-placement in hospitality and tourism. Length of stay for 1st project is 3 months, include 1 week of language training. Length of stay for 2nd project is 4 weeks.

We are also looking for partners for an expert exchange related to work safety and risk prevention. If you wish to partner with us on these project applications please contact us with your capabilities and rate information we can use as a guide for setting a budget

Sending organizations

If you are planning to submit an application under a new call for proposals we would be happy to cooperate with you. Please use the information on this page and in the Group Coordinator section of this site to find answers to Frequently Asked Questions.

Can we do your project? Work experience and exchange project in most sectors are appropriate for Barcelona. We receive large groups as well as small, all year long. Please check out the Group Coordinator section of our site for additional information on planning a project in Barcelona. This section covers what's included in our programme, services we offer, information on accommodations and food, and guidance on budgeting.

To receive a Letter of Intent for your project you must provide:

Name of the organization
Address (with postal code and information needed to send original by post)
Phone number and fax number
Title of the project
Brief description of project idea
Number of beneficiaries and whether they are students or adults
How long the group will stay
Approximate arrival and departure dates

Information for your application is provided as downloadable documents on the menu to the left. Documents include a short description of MS Barcelona with organizational data, and an overview of some past projects. We can provide project number and description of projects completed in specific sectors.

To receiver a Programme Schedule, you must provide enough information for us to understand the needs of the project and appropriate activities for the programme.

You should:

provide a short description of the knowledge or experience to be gained
indicate types of host organizations (example: vocational high school, factory, small enterprise, NGO's, etc.) appropriate for the project, or appropriate sectors for placements (example: marketing, retail sales, health clinics, business administration, etc.)
indicate appropriate activities for the programme (example: visit a local government authority, seminar on the education system, visit companies working in this field), or appropriate jobs and tasks for work placements (example: general office duties, use graphic design programmes to create advertising materials, repair electrical and electronic equipment, etc.)
